The newest Google wifi router has arrived at B&H and will start shipping soon. The router is known as the Google Nest Wifi Pro 6E Router, according to the 9to5Google website. This demonstrates that the device has the newest Wi-Fi 6E technology, a potent networking standard that, under ideal conditions, can provide 9.6Gbps.
The new device is $199 instead of $169 for the Nest WiFi router from 2019 and $99.99 for the one delivered in 2020, according to the B&H website. The Nest router now delivers speeds of up to 2.2Gbps. According to the website 9to5google, a 2-pack costs $299.99, while a 3-pack costs $399.99. The available colours for the device are Snow (white), Linen (light brown), Fog (light blue), and Lemongrass (light yellow/green).

The device is most likely going to be a separate router and won’t be able to serve as both a network extender and a Google Assistant speaker.
Given that the device is referred to as “Pro,” it is likely that the present Nest Wifi will remain in use.
The main difference between wifi 6 and wifi 6E is that the latter makes use of a third bandwidth band, which runs between around 6 GHz and 7 GHz. However, the website said that the 6E band would not materially impede speed.
The device, along with the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel Watch, will likely be announced on October 6 at the Made by Google event.
