Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, the eagerly anticipated passion project of filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, was launched on Friday to lukewarm reviews. While some thought it was fantastic and really enjoyed it, others just think it’s a failure. Whether you like it or not, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s debut movie together as a couple managed to smash the Bollywood box office record and has made somewhere between Rs 35 and Rs 36 crore nett across all languages.

According to the Box Office India report, Brahmastra had the greatest opening day ever for original Hindi material on a non-holiday, grossing between Rs 35 and 36 crore across all of its variants. With an additional Rs 3 crore nett from foreign languages, the movie is anticipated to gross between Rs 32 and Rs 33 crore in Hindi.
The film is presented in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam by the visionary director SS Rajamouli.
