ENG Vs SA: South Africa’s team has made a great start on the tour of England. On the first day of the first Test of the three-Test series, South Africa completely pushed hosts England on the backfoot. England’s assistant coach Paul Collingwood, however, has expressed the hope of his team making a comeback in the match.
England’s batsmen proved to be a flop in front of the South African bowlers. Although Ollie Pope is unbeaten on 61 runs and he has faced the bowlers like Rabada, Norkhia. Only 32 overs could be played on the first day and England’s batting faltered badly in that very moment.
Paul Collingwood, however, does not consider this a matter of concern. Collingwood has expressed confidence in his bowlers to make a comeback in the match. He said, “It will be interesting to see our world class bowlers on this pitch. They are capable of doing anything.”

Let us tell you that South Africa won the toss and called England to bat first. England had a very poor start and they lost four wickets for 55 runs. Apart from Pope, captain Ben Stokes was able to cross the double figure and contributed 20 runs.
