The firm stated in a weblog that its new lock screen widgets, which are now compatible with iOS 16, “keep discussions with your bestie saved directly to your lock screen so you can start chats with one press.”
When you want to start snapping, you can avoid scrolling with this new capability, keeping visual dialogues with the Snapchat Camera close at hand, it said.
The New Chat Shortcuts, which are located at the top of the chat tab, were noted by Snap Chat as making it simple to locate unread Snaps and Chats from friends, view missed calls, and respond to stories.
Additionally, the business added, “Our Shortcuts will remind you if you need to respond and notify you when birthdays are approaching, so you never miss someone’s special day or leave a buddy on read.”
New Snapchat features like Question Stickers are also being introduced.
The app unveiled a dual camera capability last month to allow Snapchatters to simultaneously record several angles and themes.
There are four different configurations for the dual camera function, including vertical, horizontal, picture-in-picture, and cutout.
