One of India’s most eagerly anticipated compact SUVs is the Maruti Suzuki Jimny. The forthcoming SUV with off-road capabilities has been seen multiple times while camouflaged. But this time is different since the pickup version of the Suzuki Jimny has been seen off-roading in a setting that resembles a forest. In terms of size and appearance, the pickup truck variant of the SUV appears to be comparable to the compact SUV. By the end of September, the pickup truck would arrive at the 2022 International Off-Road Fair in Versilia, Lucca, Italy.
The Maruti Suzuki Jimny pickup truck’s leaked pictures may raise the hopes of off-roading aficionados who are eagerly awaiting the SUV in India. It should be noted that the Jimny in the pictures lacks a rear cabin and roof coverings. Instead, a cargo bed is on the back portion. According to the video, the SUV’s design has been changed to improve its off-roading capabilities while also significantly improving its appearance.
Additionally, it features deep treads that have worn down to assist it better grip the ground. Furthermore, the SUV appears to have greater ground clearance to assist it navigate difficult terrain, which contributes to a smoother off-road experience. Given the aforementioned information, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny pickup truck variant may be more competent than the standard SUV version when used for a little adventure.
The Maruti Suzuki Jimny pickup truck version’s powertrain specifications are not yet revealed. The Jimny’s standard 1.5-liter gasoline engine, on the other hand, produces a maximum torque of 138 Nm and close to 103 horsepower. A 5-speed manual gearbox is in charge of transferring power to the wheels.
