The much anticipated third Vande Bharat express train has successfully finished its testing and is about to start operating on a commercial basis. The third Vande Bharat express train, which will travel between Mumbai and Ahmedabad on September 30, is set to be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With its improved speed, Wi-Fi-enabled 32-inch LCD TVs, and Catalytic UltraViolet Air Purification System, the new high-speed Vande Bharat train offers greater amenities and improved services. In order to purify the air, the third Vande Bharat train incorporates a newly created Roof Mounted Package Unit (RMPU). According to Ashwini Vaishnav, the minister of railways, the train has successfully finished its trials and received CRS approval.
“The train has received CRS clearance, meaning it is now entirely prepared to run. According to some reports, the train might leave Ahmedabad on September 30. Vaishnav stated this in an interview.
Vande Bharat will soon cut the distance between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

The third Vande Bharat train has the following new amenities:
The new Vande Bharat express train has 32-inch LCD TVs with Wi-Fi connectivity, increased speed, and less weight. The Catalytic UltraViolet Air Purification System is another addition to the train’s equipment. A recently developed Roof Mounted Package Unit for air purification (RMPU). This system has been built at both ends of the RMPU in accordance with the advice of the Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CSIO), Chandigarh, and allows new air and return air carrying bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms to be filtered and cleaned.
For the comfort of passengers, the entire seat may be shifted in the planned new train, unlike the present Vande Bharat trains where only the back portion of the seat can be changed.

Indian Railways is making every effort to enhance the manufacture of Vande Bharat express trains in order to fulfil PM Modi’s goal of having 75 of them in service by August 15, 2023.
