The new season of The Kapil Sharma Show is about to premiere, but the cast is still lacking. The fans were first heartbroken by Krushna Abhishek’s revelation of leaving the programme, and now Chandu?
Yes! This season of Kapil Sharma’s comedy programme does not include Chandu, alias Chandan Prabhakar. You read it correctly.
Chandan recently answered “NO” when asked by Pinkvilla if he will play his characters again in the upcoming season. He said: “There is no particular reason why I won’t be participating in this season of The Kapil Sharma Show. Just a quick break, please.”
This comes as a surprise because Chandan is one of Kapil’s longest friends and the two have a unique relationship.
Krushna has previously declared his intention to leave the forthcoming season of The Kapil Sharma Show. Bharti Singh won’t appear on the show “frequently” either. She said Pinkvilla “During my little vacation, I am also performing Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (Li’l Champs 9). The Kapil Sharma Show will still include me, but I won’t be able to appear regularly. Since I now have a kid and am involved in other performances and events, I will be a part of the programme occasionally but not consistently.”
Sony TV will begin broadcasting The Kapil Sharma Show on September 10th of this year.
