The English publication Indian Express reported that the BCCI intended to fly the players chosen for the T20 World Cup to Australia on October 5.

The BCCI wants players to have every chance to practise in Australia. Rahul Dravid, the team’s coach, has also been contacted by the BCCI in this respect. The players will get an additional week of practise if they arrive in Australia on October 5 itself. On October 23, Team India will play its opening World Cup match against Pakistan. Team India must also compete in two exhibition games.
