Smith had a fantastic performance as Australia defeated Zimbabwe by 8 wickets in the second One-Day International.

 

 

Australia Vs Zimbabwe: The Australian team continued its winning streak in the three-match ODI series being played against Zimbabwe. Australia beat Zimbabwe by 8 wickets in the second ODI to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Starc, Zampa and Steve Smith were the heroes of this victory of Australia. Starc was also adjudged Player of the Match for his excellent bowling.

In the second ODI, Australia won the toss and called Zimbabwe to bat first. Zimbabwe had a very poor start. Zimbabwe had lost 3 wickets at the score of 14. After this the Zimbabwe team could not make a comeback. Williams tried to handle Zimbabwe’s innings by playing 29 and Raja 17. But they could not get success.

Zimbabwe had lost 5 wickets at the score of 59. After this, Zampa and Green completely broke Zimbabwe’s back and the entire team was all out after scoring 96 runs in 27.5 overs. For Australia, Starc took three wickets for 24 runs, while Zampa took three wickets for 21 runs. At the same time, Green managed to take two wickets for 7 runs.

Australia had a bad start too
